Frequently Asked Questions

Should I use salts or de-icer on my concrete when it’s icy?
The answer is yes and no. Salts and de-icer are very tough on concrete. But if we have ice, you need to be able to get in your garage or walkway safely. I suggest using it sparingly, and the first chance you get wash it off with water. Also for the springtime, fertilizing chemicals can also damage your decorative concrete. Our advice is the same as with salt, fertilize but wash off excess as soon as possible.
