Is is possible this concrete will crack?
YES - Most concrete will want to crack, we do everything possible to control that by using control joints and/or expansion set by the standers of the American Concrete Institute.
Will decorative concrete need to be sealed yearly?
No, after we’re finished your concrete should be fine for many years to come. Some high traffic areas or places in full time sun could use an additional coat years later for additional protection on your investment.
Will the sealer be slippery?
No, we put an additive in the sealer to give anywhere from a light grip to a very aggressive traction.
How long before I can walk or drive my car on the new concrete.
Usually you can walk on your concrete the next day. Heavy objects such as a car and trucks require a little more time. Approximately 2 ½ to 3 days will be fine.
I have little chipped areas on my concrete, what is this?
More than likely it is chert rock. This rock has a tendency to freeze and pop the surface. This is a natural product that happens across the Ozarks. Using decorative concrete instead of basic concrete will sometimes keep this from happening.
